Exciting News from CSF! 2021 Rose Parade CSF Float Design Contest!
In 2021 CSF will celebrate our 100th Anniversary and we have been honored with the opportunity to have a float in the January 1, 2021 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena.
All student members of CSF and CJSF are invited to submit their design for the CSF Tournament of Roses 2021 Parade Float to celebrate 100 Years of Scholars for Service.
10 total student designs will be chosen and each student will receive recognition of their contribution; runner up designers will be invited to walk with the float in the parade.*
The designer of the #1 selected design will be invited to ride on the float January 1, 2021!*
Please share this opportunity with your chapter members. The contest is open now and will close on January 15th.

The design contest starts today, but watch for future emails about decorating the float, riding on the float, walking in the parade, and fundraising!
CJSF Marian Huhn Award – Nominations are Open
Who will you nominate?
Advisers are invited to nominate one or two CJSF members you believe exemplify the ideals of the Marian Huhn Memorial Award. This award recognizes outstanding 7th & 8th grade student members of California Junior Scholarship Federation for their academic excellence and service to the school and community.
A total of $6,250 is awarded annually, with five students from each region receiving a $250 award.
- Students must be nominated by their CJSF Adviser using the online nomination form.
- Nominations open: November 15, 2019.
- Nomination deadline: February 18th, every year.
- Nominees must participate in the Huhn Workshop at their Region’s Spring Conference – see Calendar – to be considered for the financial award.

- Chapter dues must be current through June 2019 school year.
