Marian Huhn (1979)

In 1989, the CJSF Honor Award was renamed in remembrance of the former CJSF Registrar, Marian Huhn. The Marian Huhn Memorial Award recognizes junior high school students for their academic excellence and service to the school and community.

CJSF chapter advisers nominate their top two students for the Marian Huhn Award. Nominated candidates submit a packet including letters of recommendation and a personal statement. Application deadline is February 18. A total of $6,250 is awarded annually to deserving students, with five students from each region receiving a $250 award.
