I am the daughter of Frank and Diane Fernandes. I grew up in agriculture and have a passion for the industry. Throughout my high school career I have been involved in clubs such as CSF, SOPAS, and FFA. They have all prepared me in my leadership, public speaking, and communication skills for my future career as an agriculture teacher. Through these programs I have also been able to volunteer for community service projects give back to my amazing community. Outside of school I’m involved in my church’s youth program, saYes, and I am currently California’s District 9 Alternate Dairy Princess. I have a huge passion for animals, plants, and working with others especially children which is why I hope to use my talents and experience to teach future generations about the importance of the agriculture industry.
