Chapter 1054 – Downieville High School
Adviser Lynn Fillo

Eliane Campbell is a senior at Downieville Jr/Sr High School in Downieville, California and serves as her chapter’s Vice President.  Not only is she involved in numerous sports, such as Golf, Basketball, Tennis, and Volleyball, but she also participates in a variety of clubs on campus. While not helping to lead her school in ASB, she also finds the time to do many volunteer activities and fundraisers like the Valentines Flower Sales Fundraiser, Panda Fundraiser, Quilt Sewing, Cancer Awareness Walks, CSF Peer Tutor, and Pillowcase Sewing Project for Pediatric Patients to name only some.

In the community letter, Sierra Folsom mentioned that “Eliane is someone you can always count on to show up on time, to enthusiastically help with events, and to always be the last one to leave. She is a very dependable person and shows this often by helping to set up and organize events”.

Eliane states “Growing up in such a small community with a population of fewer than three hundred people, you don’t expect to have many (volunteer) opportunities.”, but after looking at her accomplishments, it is obvious that she looks for and finds many opportunities to help others in her community.

Her CSF Adviser Lynn Fillo states “Eliane Campbell is someone who truly encompasses the concept of ‘scholarship for service’.  She is a leader, a scholar, and a friend to all.”

This fall, Eliane plans to attend the University of Nevada, Reno and study Speech and Language Pathology.
