Michelle Nguyen is a seventeen-year-old at Piedmont Hills High School located in San Jose, California. She actively lives out her passions through serving as Co-President of California Scholarship Federation, ASB Executive Treasurer, and NHS Treasurer. Also envisioned by a quest to preserve her Asian American identity and culture, Michelle Nguyen has performed the traditional lion dance as a closed-door disciple of Yun Yee Tong for over 7 years. Currently, Michelle is volunteering at the El Camino Hospital and she hopes to major in Molecular Biology to become a Clinical Lab Scientist.
Michelle was nominated for this prestigious award by Chapter 762 Adviser Nancy Kennett. Ginny David is Principal at Piedmont Hills High School in the East Side Union High School District.
